The elegant wooden chest contains a fountain pen, a bottle of inkwell ink, a notebook with white parchment sheets and a wax seal with Delta logo and a warranty certificate. This is a beautiful fountain pen from the famous Delta Pen company, in a numbered limited edition; only 70 pieces were produced. The fountain pen is loaded with a side lever mechanism. Dedicated to the Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre), from 70 A.D. to 1996 A.D. The Colosseum Platinum Limited Edition is a writing object whose colors and shapes reproduce the splendor and elegance of the ancient Roman world. Produced in a limited edition of only 70 pieces worldwide. Reserved and distributed exclusively in Italy. Characterized by the central band in pure platinum 950‰. It bears a raised engraving of ivy, symbol of tenacity and fidelity which, as a centuries-old guardian, clings with its roots to the walls eroded by time. Almost as if to protect what is most extraordinary that man has ever created. The artisans of Delta created this fountain pen with a BODY in a special resin, turned by hand from a solid bar of mother-of-pearl yellow gold and black color. The nib is 750‰ gold with a platinum coating, decorated with a 1500s Celtic design, customized, flexible. The CLIP is in special metal, particularly flexible, platinum-coated: it features a wheel whose function is to facilitate insertion into the pocket. As for the CAP: at its end there is a monogram applied. Its insertion into the reservoir is strictly screw-fixed with a three-start threading. To achieve exact alignment of lever/clip, insert the reservoir with the lever perfectly in line with the clip and turn clockwise. The TRUE CENTRAL features a relief reproduction of ivy leaves, a distinctive ornamental element, in pure platinum 950‰. The LEVER is in platinum-coated metal and bears the edition year engraved. Ancient and fascinating filling system, simple to use, free from wear-prone elements. This pen has never been used, a rare and highly sought-after collectible.
