AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

4 from a series of 5 beautiful pieces by the remarkable Dutch artist Clemens Briels from late 2006. The works are stunning in color and crafted in an exceptionally imaginative way! The pieces are made from solid cast polyresin (weighing about 14 kg) and hand-painted by the artist.
This copy is an artist's proof. These are proofs, produced specifically for the artist, that fall outside the numbered commercial edition. They are often considered more valuable and rarer, because they are personally approved by the creator and often produced in small numbers.
The regular pieces for galleries are made in an edition of 35.

His works are now included in several renowned art collections. Clemens Briels was the first Dutch artist to be elected as “Official Olympic Artist” for the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002.

His work consists mainly of paintings and sculptures. His paintings are characterized by the use of bright colors and the depth effect achieved by applying relief to the canvas.
