The nature of the technique I use makes each piece of the series a unique and unreproducible work. The dimensions and the texture of the final piece may differ slightly from the photos and from the stated measurements.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, three-quarters interrupted by a hollow portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Self against the perils of existence, but also an innate longing for the heights. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter becoming spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit stands out as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
