Description from the seller

Himeros (273)

Himeros is the burning breath of desire, the invisible force that awakens the senses and drags the soul toward the irresistible. In Greek mythology he embodies the sudden and overwhelming impulse of love, the feverish tension that precedes every encounter.
Son of Aphrodite, according to some legends the twin of Eros, Himeros shares with his brothers Pothos and Eros the power to awaken passion in human hearts. Traditionally depicted with bow and arrows, he strikes not only the body but penetrates the will, dissolving every defense.
In this visual interpretation, the classic form intertwines with a contemporary aesthetic: the marble becomes flesh, myth becomes presence. An image that does not merely describe desire, but evokes it, holds it back, and returns it to the viewer.
An artwork designed for those who recognize in beauty not only harmony, but also tension, mystery, and seduction.

Conservation Tips for works
For optimal preservation of your Fine Art print:
Our Fine Art prints deserve special care to preserve their quality over time, preventing yellowing or fading.
We recommend always handling them with clean, dry cotton gloves.
If framing, use a mat to avoid direct contact between the print and the glass.
Store the prints away from direct light. Even the materials of the storage boxes matter: lignin-containing or acidic-paper cartons can damage the print substrate and promote yellowing.
