DESAYUNO is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This work stops being routine to become a small visual event. The fried egg, the golden croissant, the opened fruit, the strawberries and the served glass coexist with a dark bottle that introduces an unexpectedly elegant note, creating a blend between the domestic and the celebratory.

The composition is viewed from above, as if the viewer has just sat down in front of the table and found everything arranged under a clear, clean light. The turquoise blue tablecloth with white stripes functions as a fresh, luminous surface on which each object stands out with almost graphic intensity. The yellows, pinks, blacks and reds generate a very vivid chromatic play that adds dynamism and a sense of abundance.

There is in the work a delicious contradiction between simplicity and sophistication.
