NY, Brown & Blue was created from tall NY roof top in 2014. The image depicts in painterly detail the classic elegance of midtown Manhattan architecture which is impossible to see from the city street levels. An artwork constructed from several image details. The final work flirts with an aesthetic between a photograph, a drawing or an illustration. Chromogenic (museum quality) print on Fuji Crystal Archival paper. Print no 6 from an edition of 20.
The print is signed on a label on verso and has an embossed artist stamp on recto. It also comes with a signed & dated Certificate of Authenticity. The artwork will be shipped flat (tracked in insured) well protected in acid free materials and a sturdy packaging
André Lichtenberg work has received numerous awards and been exhibited in museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998, Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Paris in 2015/16 and Fabrica, Brighton in 2018.
