Description from the seller
A0000004812
Elegant Parker Duofold pen made in blue marbled resin with pearlescent highlights and gold-plated finishes. The design corresponds to the first generation of the modern Duofold relaunched in the late 80s, recognizable by its classic silhouette inspired by the historical Duofolds and its distinctive Parker arrow clip. The body features an attractive Blue Marble pattern, very characteristic of the era, combined with decorative black rings and high-gloss gold-plated details.
The twist mechanism operates by rotating the upper end and uses standard Parker refills, ensuring smooth writing and easy maintenance.
Condition as appreciated in the photos:
Very good overall condition. Minor light superficial signs of use and small normal marks on the gold parts are observable, consistent with careful preservation. The shine of the resin and the adornments remains visually appealing.
Observations:
Highly regarded model among Parker collectors for its Blue Marble finish, less common than the black or burgundy variants. An elegant piece, functional and perfectly suitable for both collection and daily use.
Conservation recommendations:
Store in a dry place and away from direct sunlight. Avoid bumps or pressure on the twist mechanism. Use original Parker refills to ensure optimal operation and occasionally clean the metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
