Description from the seller
Painting by the artist Jarol, in oil on canvas, executed entirely with a spatula.
Dimensions of the work: 53 x 73 cm, corresponding to the painting, with a white peripheral margin for easier mounting or framing.
The artworks, once sold, are shipped within a maximum of three days to anywhere in the world. Each piece is carefully packaged, protected with paper and bubble wrap, and sent in a rigid, high-strength cardboard tube, guaranteeing its perfect preservation during transport.
This work, realized in oil on canvas, is a vibrant example of contemporary figurative expressionism. The artist employs a gestural and material technique, using the spatula to overlay bold planes of color that break the two-dimensionality of the face. The palette is dominated by a range of electric blues and violets that impart a cold psychological depth, which contrast dramatically with warm orange and carmine accents, focalizing attention on the lips and the gaze. The painter seeks to convey the complexity of human identity and the duality of emotions; through his energetic and almost abstract strokes, he manages to connect the viewer with an intense introspection, where beauty does not reside in the perfection of the feature, but in the strength of expression and the inner light emanating from the chromatic chaos.
