He holds the head of a bear, a symbol of innocence, a pop icon, a comforting mascot.
Because in our era, we don’t topple giants anymore; we decapitate symbols.

Caravaggio's chiaroscuro against the absurd softness of a bear who doesn’t understand what is happening to it.
Both funny, disturbing, and a little tragic.
