DPaliga presents Falling Into a Stranger, an original acrylic and mixed-media painting on canvas (130 cm by 80 cm, unframed; about 120 by 70 cm when mounted), hand-signed, from Poland, dated 2025, in perfect condition, depicting pop culture in an expressive contemporary figurative style, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
The painting uses shorthand and geometricization of forms, blending elements of realism with painterly abstraction. Reflections of light and reflections in the bodywork and the windshield create a complex space in which interior and external landscape interpenetrate. Visible, decisive brushstrokes give the work energy and emphasize its expressive character.
The composition evokes the atmosphere of a summer journey—a fleeting moment in which the external world and inner feelings merge into one. It is a painting about movement, freedom, and perception, captured in an intense, contemporary painterly language.
Style: contemporary figurative painting / expressionism / transformed realism
