Description from the seller

Photo taken in Berlin during the filming of the movie "Just a Gigolo" directed by David Hemmings and starring David Bowie and Kim Novak in 1978.

The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle cotton rag photo paper ultra smooth 305gsm. 4 cm mat board. Archival inks guaranteed 150 years. Photograph with the original artist's stamp and signature. The photos are shown at auction in low resolution to prevent unauthorized reproductions; the photos sent to buyers will instead be reproduced from the originals in high resolution for optimal printing.

Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a stills photographer from 1960 to today. In 1960 his passion for photography led him to join the Press Office team of Luigi Pratuloni (then a still photographer for Federico Fellini’s film "La Dolce Vita"). Subsequently he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their success. A master of photographic light, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.

"Help" Richard Leister

"Barbarella" Roger Vadim

"Candy" Christian Marquand

"The Godfather" Frances Ford Coppola

"Raging Bull" Martin Scorsese

"Once Upon a Time in America" Sergio Leone

"Romeo and Juliet" Franco Zeffirelli

"Ladyhawke" Richard Donner

...and many other films.

Now he lives in the Roman countryside near some beautiful waterfalls, retracing through his indelible memories the incredible stories of the world film industry of those days.
