Ernst Graner (1865–1943) was a prominent Austrian painter and one of the most distinguished Viennese watercolourists of his time. He is best known for his detailed vedute that capture the historic cityscape of Vienna and significant architectural monuments.
He initially trained as a lithographer. He subsequently studied from 1885–90 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Franz Rumpler (1848-1922) and Eduard Peithner von Lichtenfels (1833-1913).
After completing his studies, he regularly exhibited at the Wiener Künstlerhaus. In 1910 he became an ordinary member there.
