Pescadora, a 2016 oil on canvas painting by Vitaly Leshukov Soldatov from Spain, in Neo-Impressionist style, depicting nature, sized 55 × 46 cm, hand-signed and in good condition.
Description from the seller
“Pescadora” is a lyrical oil painting by Vitaly Leshukov Soldatov, created in 2016.
The composition is built around a quiet water-side scene: on the right edge of the work appears the small figure of a girl with a light hat, standing on the shore with a fishing rod. In front of her opens a wide surface of river or lake, where trees, sky and a soft, diffuse light are reflected. The painting is full of silence, air and the sensation of a summer day.
The artist uses a clear, almost silvery palette: blues, greyish greens, pearly tones and ochres blend softly into one another. Water occupies much of the composition and becomes the true pictorial field of the work: reflections, surface movement and light are built with loose, lively brushstrokes. The girl’s figure does not dominate the scene but acts as a delicate emotional accent: a presence of childhood, waiting and contemplation.
The work is perceived as a serene memory of a simple moment in nature. It combines the lightness of plein air, the softness of Impressionist painting and the artist’s ability to transform a everyday scene into an image of inner calm.
