Description from the seller
For sale is my very beloved 12‑string Framus guitar from the 1960s. A true vintage instrument with lots of charm, great aura, and a beautiful, full sound.
Framus is cult – even John Lennon played Framus.
Condition:
For its age in good condition. Of course, after more than 60 years there are normal signs of wear. The beautiful lacquer patina gives the guitar its special character (see photos).
The guitar has been partially restored and revised. Unfortunately, I have to part with it due to lack of time, as the project could not be fully completed.
Equipment / Details:
Original Framus 12‑string from the 60s
Solidly built, robust construction
Thick top for a powerful sound
Good playability
Zero fret
Wide saddle
Neck made of maple
Nearly new tuners
Fret nibs and frets in good condition
Fretboard freshly oiled
New saddle (new Ernie Ball strings)
New high‑quality wooden rosette
New pickguard
Measurements:
Total length: 109.3 cm
Nut width: 5.6 cm
Neck width at the zero fret: 4.8 cm
Neck width at the 12th fret: 5.6 cm
Body depth: 9.5 cm
Special feature:
The string action is easy to adjust – via 2 screws at the bridge as well as additional adjustment on the headstock.
A wonderful collectible piece, but also excellent for playing.
If shipping is desired, please message in advance so we can clarify all details. If you have further questions about condition or the guitar itself, please also get in touch before purchase to avoid misunderstandings. This ensures that everything fits.
Private sale, no warranty or returns.
