Annamaria Gelmi, senza titolo, a hand-signed lithograph in a limited edition XVI/XXX, created in 1970–1980, on rare Fabriano paper, 50 x 35 cm, from Italy and sold by Galleria, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Born in Trento in 1943, where he lives. He studies at the Brera Academy and in Venice. The beginnings in the 1970s immediately characterize his work through geometric abstraction. From 1973 he confronts various materials: plexiglass, plastic, glass. The works of the 1980s are in black and white. The transparencies thus give way to color and gold. He works on the concept of perimeter and threshold. He interprets architecture as a sign of time spanning the centuries. He defines perimeters, spaces, placing them dialectically in dialogue between space and time, historical memory and daily life, symbolic and concrete space.
On Fabriano paper, a rare lithograph in good condition from the 1970s by Maestro A. Gelmi.
