The Ardbeg distillery launched the Ardbeg Ardcore Committee Release in 2022 exclusively for Committee members on Ardbeg Day 2022 - an anarchic single malt whiskey with a punk rock attitude. They distilled the single malt Scotch whiskey from deep black roasted barley malt. Without dyes and cooling filtration.
It is characterized by intense, spicy notes of charcoal, sweet smoke, dark chocolate, anise, menthol and coffee grounds. Long-lasting, sweet finish with notes of syrup, toffee, sweet vanilla and smoke.
