Description from the seller

fine antique cigarette holder crafted from natural Baltic amber of rich honey and butterscotch tones, mounted with a gold collar/ferrule at the mouthpiece end. The amber tube tapers elegantly from 15 mm at the mouth end to 11 mm at the tip, with an inner bore of 6 mm. The gold mount bears a hallmark stamp (visible in close-up photographs), consistent with European goldsmithing practice of the late 19th to early 20th century.
Length: 82 mm
Mouth diameter: 15 mm (outer); 6 mm (inner bore)
Tip diameter: 11 mm
Total weight: 9 grams
Material: Natural Baltic amber, gold-mounted ferrule (hallmarked)
Eagle head gold hallmarked
Condition: Good antique condition commensurate with age; patina to gold mount, amber intact with no cracks
A handsome and collectable smoking accessory from the Belle Époque era, when amber and gold cigarette holders were prized luxury items carried by gentlemen and ladies of distinction.
