The Work
Title: Flying Eye
Year: 2021
Technique: Digital print
Dimensions: 100 × 100 cm (height × width)
Edition: Unique piece (1/1) — not an open edition nor a limited series
"Flying Eye" is a contemporary surrealist work with a strong visual impact.
At the center of the composition stands a human eye rendered with extreme technical precision, from whose pupil delicate figures emerge toward a distant sun — evoking transformation, freedom and the fine boundary between the inner world and the infinite.
The warm tones of the rosy background contrast with the dark depth of the pupil, creating a powerful visual dialogue between the intimate and the cosmic.
The composition naturally guides the viewer’s gaze, from the most minute details of the iris toward the luminous opening in the background. Soft shading and a textured handling of the surface reveal a refined balance between technical control and emotion.
