THE WORK:
“Goat Head” (2021) is an engraving of strong visual impact that captures the nobility and wild character of the animal. The serene gaze and the breadth of the horns create a powerful image, while the fine interlacing of lines typical of drypoint adds depth, texture, and a remarkable level of detail in the fur.
The composition, sober and elegant, concentrates all attention on the animal’s presence, conveying a balance between realism and artistic sensitivity.
Work made on a sheet of Plexiglas and printed in black ink on 250 g Grabado Arte paper. An edition signed, dated and numbered in Roman numerals V/V, belonging to a very limited edition.
This work ships with a certificate of authenticity including a photograph of the work, dated and hand-signed by the artist.
Shipping is conducted with the work properly protected between cardboard, not rolled.

Copyist of artworks at the Museo Nacional del Prado. Painting studios with Daniel Quintero, Eduardo Úrculo; Printmaking workshop at the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda with José Hernández, Daniel Gil, Paco Mora, Luis Cabrera. Solo and group exhibitions at various national and international galleries.
Selected in numerous national competitions. Some awards include: 2nd Prize Caballeros de Yuste, finalist Laura Otero VIII, Medal of Honor Sotillo de la Adrada, 5th Prize XVIII Antequera, Medal of Honor at XXII López-Villaseñor, XLII Painting and Drawing Contest Antonio López, Tomelloso, Ciudad Real. First Prize in Small Format Painting AGORA96, Cádiz. Finalist in Drawing Fundación Ynglada-Guillot, Barcelona. Recent competitions where he has been selected include Daimiel and Virgen de las Viñas, Laura Otero (finalist) and Valdepeñas.
