Description from the seller
* This work has been created without the use of Artificial Intelligence.
Edition 2/3 – Signed and numbered
Framed work (black wooden frame, no glass)
Fine Art print on Hahnemühle Baryta paper
DESCRIPTION
The Stalker presents a scene in which domestic calm and suspense coexist in a delicate visual balance.
The protagonist appears relaxed inside her home, seated in an armchair with a bathrobe and towel on her head, reading the newspaper under a warm, cinematic light. The atmosphere conveys intimacy and tranquility, almost like a still frame frozen in time.
However, the shadow projected on the wall — with an unsettling silhouette of rounded ears — breaks that apparent serenity and transforms the scene into a narrative filled with subtle tension and visual irony.
The work plays with the contrast between the everyday and the disturbing, inviting the viewer to imagine what happens out of frame and what silent threat lies behind the scene.
With influences from cinema, staged photography, and vintage advertising language, The Stalker combines humor, mystery, and contemporary aesthetics in a carefully constructed composition.
