The first image shows the passage of the work from the external wall to the interior space of the buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses, or museums, drastically changing environment and meaning. In this case, the corner of the wall judged to be the most interesting is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had created his external intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, in buildings, in museums, or in other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public, everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.
