I was born into a family where art was not well regarded, so I ended up studying secretarial work. Later, of my own accord, I trained in graphic arts, since it was the most 'artistic' formal education available. Thanks to that training I gained knowledge about photography, and after motherhood I dedicated myself to photography for many years. Now, in maturity, the inner longing to create art beats stronger than ever, so self-taught I began painting, first small commissions from friends and now I paint for the pure joy of it, as it should always have been.
