Biography:
JonOne (French-American, born in 1963 in New York), renowned for works influenced by graffiti, was born in the Harlem neighborhood, where colorful and elaborate graffiti art evolves. He began creating, with a childhood friend, graffiti of his name as early as 17. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective to bring together the passion of graffiti writers.
After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a painter on canvas in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in the Parisian art circles thanks to his canvas works, was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is shown permanently. His works are among the most important auctioned pieces in the world of graffiti. #artribuneQ4
