Description from the seller

This pair of vases is a classic example of Japanese Imari porcelain, characterized by the typical color combination "under glaze" cobalt blue and "over glaze" decorations in iron red and gold. The central motif depicts cranes, symbols of longevity, set within shaped reserves surrounded by dense floral and geometric patterns. These pieces date to the late Meiji period (1868-1912) / early Taisho period (1912-1926), an era of strong production for export to the West.

Dimensions 48x24x24 cm

Good condition overall, slight material defects, missing in some spots, defects due to the normal passage of time, as shown in the photos.

Prospective buyers are invited to observe the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description; the piece viewed in the images will be the same one that will be delivered to your home!
