Beautiful fountain pen from the 1950s, circa, produced by the Bologna-based Omas. 
Model 556/S made in gray-silver and black variegated celluloid. 
On the body there is the inscription Omas 556/s  Patent 44.58.46. 
The inscription is vivid and perfectly legible. 
Clip and cap band in gold-toned metal, with no signs of gilding. 
Original Omas Extra nib in 14k gold. Heart-shaped breather hole. Fine point, very flexible. 
Piston operates perfectly. 
No signs of wear, pen practically new. 
Complete with box and guarantee
