Here is finally the long-awaited new version of Teejo’s Pub des Rencontres, a digital work that has become iconic. This painting is the fruit of meticulous and passionate work, carried out over many tens of hours, where every detail was thought out to create a narrative universe rich, mysterious, and deeply immersive.

In this homage to Edward Hopper, the famous nighttime bar becomes a temporal crossroads, a living theater where characters from different eras, artistic movements, and cultural universes intersect. Classic, modern, historical, or imaginary figures mingle in a reinvented scene, creating a fascinating visual game between references, misdirections, and impossible meetings.

Each character (about 20 master paintings) has been wholly recreated (tablets + Photoshop), integrated with a keen sense of light and chromatic coherence to respect Hopper’s unique atmosphere while asserting Teejo’s artistic signature.

Teejo is a French contemporary artist. He modernizes old works by great masters by reinventing them with his own vision. He wishes to reintroduce to the whole world old paintings by great masters that are sometimes forgotten with time. His passion for classical art has allowed him to develop his talent. He has also created new original works that blend poetry, satire, precaution, and imagination, conveying many messages through his creations. These works are sold worldwide.

He creates his works using digital tools like Photoshop and loves mixing and revisiting techniques to obtain the best result. He is also the designer of the "perceptual duality," a graphic innovation filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property allowing multiple images in a single painting through color-filter glasses.
