Eliseo Ferrandiz Serenidad, an original hand-signed acrylic painting on canvas (80 x 60 cm, 2 kg) depicting a female portrait in blue and white on a black background, created in 2026 and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
I present "Serenidad", an original hand-painted work in acrylic on high-quality canvas (80 x 60 cm). In this piece, I explore the duality between light and shadow through a female portrait loaded with introspection and mystery.
Technique and Style: Using a monochromatic palette of icy blues and pure whites on a deep black background, the work stands out for the dynamism in the hair and the softness of the facial modeling. Every brushstroke has been applied with the aim of creating a cinematic and modern atmosphere.
Visual Impact: The extreme contrast not only defines the form but also gives the piece a depth that shifts according to the room’s lighting where it is displayed. It is an ideal piece for minimalist spaces or collectors seeking figurative art with a contemporary touch.
Details of the Lot:
Dimensions: 80 x 60 cm.
Support: Canvas on wooden stretcher (ready to hang).
Condition: Directly from the artist’s studio (2026).
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist Eliseo Ferrandiz in the lower left corner.
"We live in a world that never keeps quiet, where external noise tries to mute our inner voice. This work, titled 'Sosegar el Caos' (Calm the Chaos), was born out of the need to find a personal sanctuary.
I wanted to capture that state of grace in which, when we close our eyes, time stands still. The use of deep blue and icy whites is not by chance; they seek to convey the temperature of calm, that cool breeze we feel when we finally achieve peace with ourselves. The hair flows freely, like thoughts that no longer weigh us down, while the light strokes the figure’s profile, reminding us that true serenity is not the absence of problems, but the presence of clarity amid them.
When hanging this piece, my intention is that the viewer feels they have opened a window to a space of silence and absolute balance."
The canvas will be shipped protected in rigid cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap and reinforced with double-sided foam boards to guarantee total protection during transport.
