Artistic description
Cartografía de Luz is an abstract work on canvas of 100 x 100 cm, mounted on a pine wood frame, created as a living composition of color, rhythm and texture.
In this piece I wanted to build an emotional map: small traces of color that appear, cross and dialog with each other on a luminous background. The tones aqua blue, turquoise, pink, fuchsia, beige and golden ochre create a cheerful, fresh and sophisticated sensation, like fragments of memories, summer glints or small windows of light scattered across the canvas.
Texture plays an essential role. Brushstrokes and denser layers bring depth and physical presence, making the work change with the light and the distance from which it is viewed. Up close, the gesture, the matter and the energy of the process are perceived; from afar, the composition becomes balanced, elegant and decorative.
It is a work designed to bring vitality without losing delicacy. It has a lively, contemporary and very versatile presence, capable of illuminating a bright space or creating a powerful contrast in a dark and sophisticated environment. Its square format gives it visual strength and balance, turning it into a leading piece.
