Kinga Makowka's Exquisite Temptations is an original 2025 acrylic painting with mixed media on cotton canvas, measuring 86.5 by 121.5 cm, hand signed, created in the United Kingdom and sold direct from the artist, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Exquisite Temptations is a large contemporary abstract landscape defined by tonal depth and contrast. Soft, atmospheric neutrals are layered to create a misted horizon.
Subtle metallic accents are integrated within the textured surface, catching light gently and adding dimension.
The result is a work that shifts with its environment; softer from a distance, richly detailed on closer inspection.
The painting is built through layered acrylic application directly onto cotton canvas. Paint is blended intuitively to create atmospheric transitions, with additional structure and texture introduced using a palette knife. This process creates depth that responds dynamically to changing light.
With its neutral palette and strong compositional balance, the piece works particularly well in modern, minimalist, luxury or architectural interiors. It functions as a statement work while maintaining sophistication.
Signed on the reverse.

Kinga Makowka is a Polish-born artist based in Yorkshire, whose work explores the emotional terrain between memory and presence, stillness and sensation.
Working primarily on raw linen and cotton canvas, she builds her paintings in delicate layers; soft pigments, textures, and metallic details that seem to catch not just light, but time itself. Her pieces do not aim to capture a specific place, but rather a moment… a feeling.
Much of her work is rooted in personal reflection a search for meaning. Kinga invites the viewer into a deeply human space: one of emotion, nostalgia, and connection.
Her practice often draws from her own life - family rituals, nature walks, the chaos of ADHD, and the peace she seeks through it all. It is a cartography of the internal world, mapping feeling through form.
