Montblanc Bohème Gold rollerball pen, made of black precious resin with yellow gold plated finishes, originated in Germany and dating from the Fine 20th century, serial XY1128265, 12 cm long with a 1.2 cm diameter, in excellent condition and in working order with the original Montblanc refill.
Description from the seller
Here we present one of the most fascinating and distinctive lines from the maison, loved for its compact proportions and bold design: the Montblanc Bohème Roller Pen with yellow gold finishes (classic version without stone on the clip).
The Bohème collection stands in clear contrast to the classic Meisterstück for its chunkier, modern design and decisive character. The body and cap are made of black precious resin, polished to a high gloss and adorned with thick, bright yellow gold-plated finishes. What characterizes this specific model is the clip with a clean and elegant design, devoid of the synthetic gem (No Stone), a detail that gives it a more sober and formal aesthetic. On the flat top of the cap sits the large emblem of the white star.
Unlike the fountain pen, the Rollerball version offers a smooth and immediate writing experience, while preserving the screw-cap ritual. As evidenced by your excellent photographs of the pen disassembled, the cap can be tightly screwed onto the appropriate threading located on the base during writing, transforming the compact pen into a standard-size instrument with perfect balance. Inside is the original Montblanc refill.
The condition is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The black resin is mirror-polished, well preserved and free of chips or signs of impact; only the physiological and nearly imperceptible micro-scratches (hairlines) from normal handling are evident. The gold plating, including the impressive domed ring of the cap, remains bright and intact. The serial code is regularly engraved on the clip ring.
