Description from the seller

Bruno Paolo Benedetti, born in 1954, began taking photographs in 1968, studying perspective and photo techniques. From the beginning he was focused on black and white photography, observing the contrasts of nature, the lights and interpreting the reality around him. When he was 25 he began to work in the darkroom, enhancing his technique using filters and high-contrast films to make his first pictures of surreal and abstract photography. At the same time he began traveling around Europe and the world: India, Nepal, Bhutan, South America, South Africa, Egypt, the Comoros Islands are some of the most visited places. The study of the religions, the mysticism in all of them, inspired his artistic production, especially his surreal photography, where cultural and religious archetypes are depicted.

Vortex

“Vortex” is a striking black-and-white composition that draws the viewer into a dynamic spiral of light and shadow. Fluid, swirling forms converge toward a central point, evoking motion, depth, and the gravitational pull of an unseen force. The work balances intensity and elegance through its minimalist palette, inviting contemplation on energy, transformation, and the nature of perception. Issued as number 2 in a limited edition of 30, this 30 × 45 cm print embodies a powerful and immersive visual experience.
