Cor Schaap (1968) - Strandgezicht

This beautiful painting is original and by the hand of the Katwijk-based artist Cor Schaap, whose inspiration is found in life by the sea. Schaap received his training from Joop van Leeuwen, the well-known impressionist from The Hague. Both along the coast and in his studio he captures with a loose, flowing brushstroke the atmosphere of beach, sky and light.
