Juan Antonio Alda (1943) - Desconocido

This magnificent pair of 1974 prints by Juan Antonio Alda stands out for its overpowering expressionist character and the striking contrast of white lines on a brown background. The series, edited for Iberia, masterfully captures—with a quixotic air—the essence of popular types: an imposing nobleman and a charismatic countryman. Framed in their original chrome mouldings from the 1970s, measuring 51x37 cm, the works retain all their vintage authenticity. Regarding their general condition, the sheets show light signs of aging and small halos or damp spots located on the white margins (mat) that do not compromise the print’s impression. The frames exhibit patina and superficial scratches typical of their age. A set with great potential for contemporary interior design. Hard to come by, they are delivered as shown in the photographs.
