Description from the seller
SIGNED ARTPRINT VOGUE RINUS VAN DE VELDE
Hand-signed and dated.
Rinus Van de Velde and Willy Vanderperre collaborate on the cover for Vogue.
Fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre and artist Rinus Van de Velde have joined forces to create a collectible for the Dutch edition of Vogue.
YEAR 2020
Dimensions of work: +/- 27.5 x 20 cm
Dimensions of frame: +/- 40 x 32.5 cm (professional Nielsen framing)
For Belgian fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre, it is not the first time his work graces the cover, but the image that adorns the April issue of the Dutch Vogue is special. Vanderperre, who has long admired Van de Velde’s drawings, asked the artist to edit his photo of Argentine model Mica Argañaraz.
The fashion magazine this month centers on freedom and self-expression. The collaboration is therefore not limited to the cover: Van de Velde also went over the other photos from the fashion shoot with his colored pencils, and for the EVERLASTING VALUE SEEKER there is an ART PRINT (HAND-SIGNED AND DATED) included with the magazine for those who want to frame the collaboration between Vanderperre and Van de Velde. The duo also sat down for a double interview.
It is not the first time the two Belgian creatives have collaborated. Van de Velde has appeared in front of Vanderperre’s lens several times, including in 2016 when he modeled for Dior Homme.
Included in the lot:
- Hand-signed and dated art print - professional framing 40 x 32.5 cm.
- Vogue magazine with insert featuring an interview with Rinus Van de Velde and Willy Vanderperre
Unique lot. Collectors item. Will only increase in value.
