Montblanc - StarWalker Extreme - Pen

In this auction we present a piece with a strongly technical, bold, and avant-garde character, reinterpreting the lines of contemporary writing: the Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Roller Pen. This model represents the most gritty and “industrial” evolution of the maison’s famous pocket collection.

The design breaks traditional conventions thanks to an extraordinary material research. The body and the cap are made of premium black resin, superficially finished with an exclusive structured diamond texture that creates a three-dimensional geometric relief pattern. This particular finish not only gives a modern, hi-tech visual impact, but also offers a unique tactile sensation and an extremely stable non-slip grip.

To contrast the dark weave, imposing finishes plated in dark ruthenium (rifle-barrel finish) are visible on the squared clip and on the hefty metal grip. The true distinctive feature remains the famous transparent dome atop the screw cap, inside which the white star emblem floats, suspended in mid-air. As a Roller model, the pen delivers a smooth and continuous stroke; as shown by photos of the disassembled piece, the mechanism is intact and currently equipped with an original refill.

The condition is to be considered overall excellent. The intricate diamond pattern of the body is perfectly defined, free of dents, chipped resin, or abrasions. The dark ruthenium finishes maintain their characteristic matte yet reflective luster on the grip, showing only minimal and invisible micro-scratches resulting from the cap’s routine screwing. The transparent dome is clear and free of opacity. To guarantee the total authenticity of the lot, the individual serial number is regularly engraved on the side of the clip loop.
