Arkadiy Kurta was born in 1977 in Ukraine and graduated from the Kiev School of Photography in 2007.

He has the ability to create intimate spaces in the middle of a city without the need of gimmickry whilst treading the fine line between the sensuality of the fine art nude and the repellent crudity of pornography. Kurta does not treat the women he photographs as sexual objects. His images possess the subtleties required to expose the delicate 'shades of grey' that separate art from erotica placing them comfortably on the borderline between expression & desire.
