Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a stills photographer from 1960 to today. In 1960 his passion for photography led him to become part of the press office team of Luigi Pratulon (then the still photographer for Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita).

Subsequently he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their fame. A master of photographic light, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.

"Help" Richard Leister

"Barbarella" Roger Vadim

"Candy" Christian Marquand

"The Godfather" Francis Ford Coppola

"Raging Bull" Martin Scorsese

"Once Upon a Time in America" Sergio Leone

Now he lives in the Roman countryside near some beautiful waterfalls, retracing through his indelible memories the incredible stories of the world film industry of those days.
