Fernando Ribaudo - Il Flauto Mascherato

I am Fernando Ribaudo, a 63-year-old Italian artist. I have worked for 42 years as a set designer, and I have painted about 500 canvases in my life, but I am not famous, and currently I am devoted to creating some paintings for several competitions. The painting submitted, titled "The Masked Flute" which I realized on canvas in oil, represents an old dream of mine, a young musician inside the magical castle of my dreams in a medieval town at night, festive, with many lanterns and lights, with almost Flemish glints, in the music room, where the masked flutist plays her music. The background shows through three arches a town illuminated with a festive/market atmosphere, and the flutist plays..........with a gold mask framing two enchanted eyes, with golden threads on her face.....in a fantastic dream.
