Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.
"Debris" The composition is built on the collision of angular, dissected planes, as if some object or space is shattered and frozen in the moment of disintegration. Cool blue and gray tones dominate warm ochres, creating a sense of metal, glass, or ice—matters that exist precisely as "shards." The central vertical with a dark circle at the top is the only stable element amid the chaos of scattered forms, perhaps the only remaining element. The upper band of yellow holds everything back from complete destruction, like a last light over the rubble.
