Claudio Cintoli’s lithograph Centomila Lire (1975) is a limited edition Pop Art work, lithography on paper, edition 26/50, signed by hand in the lower right and numbered in the lower left, depicting the Italian 100,000 lire banknote with Manzoni and a pistol, measuring 44 x 88 cm and in good condition.

The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right margin. Numbered in Arabic numerals on the lower left margin. Edition of 50 prints. Good condition.
The work depicts the Italian 100,000-lira banknote. On the right, there is a portrait of the great Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni with a double face (on the original 100,000-lira note there was Manzoni's portrait with an empty space on the left). On the left, there is a pistol aimed at Manzoni's portrait. Manzoni is a symbol and a classic Italian icon.
