Bruno Cantais, professional painter based in Lyon, is registered as contributing to the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from the abstract expressionism of Rauschenberg, to matter projections, to Pop Art collage or expressionism.
He scratches the surface of the canvas, digging grooves that seem to open paths or sometimes get lost in the mists of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, of feeling and sense, of shadow and light, of emptiness and fullness.
The sculpture was not created by the artist but is only painted.
