Max Kreijn – Roma
A screen print of a window frame that has been arranged in an elegant way. The work is framed, without glass.
After several years studying architecture at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Kreyn continued his education in Monumental Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Subsequently he took lessons under the direction of, among others, R.B. Kitaj and David Hockney at the Royal College of Art in London. After his studies, he first moved to the island of Ibiza and then to Assisi and Florence, where he devoted himself intensively to painting. For over forty years the artist lived and worked in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina and Australia. This international background and broad artistic formation are reflected in his work, in which architecture, atmosphere and personal experience come together.

Viewings are, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framers’ workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also work with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be glad to hear from you.
