THE WORK:
Line etching printed in black on paper. This work is part of a delicate collection devoted to the study of swallows, capturing with great sensitivity the movement and stillness of these birds. The composition balances dynamism and quiet through a fine, expressive line characteristic of the intaglio engraving technique.
It is a very special piece as it is marked P/E (Proof State), which makes it a unique specimen within the printing process. The black ink and the delicacy of the lines give depth and a poetic, contemporary atmosphere.
Hand-signed and dated.

Copyist of Art Works at the Museo Nacional del Prado. Painting studios with Daniel Quintero, Eduardo Úrculo; Printmaking workshop at the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda with José Hernández, Daniel Gil, Paco Mora, Luis Cabrera. Solo and group exhibitions at various national and international galleries.
Selected in numerous national competitions. Some awards include: 2nd Prize Caballeros de Yuste; finalist Laura Otero; Medal of Honor Sotillo de la Adrada; 5th Prize XVIII Antequera; Medal of Honor at the XXII López-Villaseñor; XLII Painting and Drawing Competition Antonio López, Tomelloso, Ciudad Real. First Prize in Small Format Painting AGORA96, Cádiz. Drawing finalist at Fundación Ynglada-Guillot, Barcelona.
