Biography
The poet and visual artist Jiří Kolář has been one of the best-known Czech artists since his participation in documenta 4 in Kassel in 1968. Building on his engagement with concrete poetry, he developed for his visual works a variety of collage forms, which he called, for example, Rollage, Chiasmage, or Crumblage.
