Bruno Cantais, a professional painter based in Lyon, is registered as a contributor with the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from Rauschenberg's abstract expressionism, to matter projections, to Pop Art collage or expressionism.
He scrapes the surface of the canvas, digging grooves that seem to open paths or sometimes get lost in the fogs of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, feeling and perception, shadow and light, emptiness and fullness.
