This watch is powered by the respected Girard-Perregaux Gyromatic automatic movement, Cal. 480-456. The calibre number is clearly visible on the movement itself. The movement has been professionally inspected and is operating properly.

Dial: The watch features a vertically brushed gold-tone dial combined with faceted applied baton hour markers and matching gold-tone hands, creating a remarkably warm and balanced visual character. The minimalist dial architecture is strengthened by the iconic “GP” logo positioned beneath 12 o’clock, while the “Gyromatic” signature above 6 o’clock highlights the model’s historical automatic movement heritage. The day-date window positioned at 3 o’clock is seamlessly integrated into the design and stands out as one of the watch’s most distinctive details.

Crystal: Plexiglass crystal

Crown: The crown is unsigned. While it appears highly consistent with the model and period, it cannot be confirmed with absolute certainty whether it is the original factory-issued GP crown.

Strap & Buckle: The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap that harmonizes beautifully with the warm tones of the dial and case, giving the watch a strong classic dress-watch character (total length: approx. 23.5 cm). Gold-tone buckle.

Condition: The watch features a clean and well-preserved case. The gold-plated surfaces remain in very good overall condition with only light signs of age-related wear. The dial shows a few very small localized marks visible only upon close inspection. During testing, the movement was observed to run very healthily, with strong and accurate timekeeping performance. Considering its vintage age, the overall condition is highly satisfying and fully collectible. All major components are believed to be original to the watch except the strap and buckle.
