Santicri's original, unique acrylic on canvas titled 'Snapshot , Gesture #2 (No Reserve)', 70 × 50 cm, hand-signed on the front, dating to 2026, in the conceptual art style and depicting pop culture, created in Italy and sold directly by the artist, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Unique work by Santicri, among the 2024 Best-Selling Artists and one of the three most sought-after names on Catawiki. “Fall and Rebirth” represents one of the most intense expressions of his exploration of the duality between chaos and transformation, combining visual power and technical refinement.
Description:
This artwork transforms the painting gesture into an essential, direct, almost primitive sign. The single, continuous stroke develops on the surface as an immediate trace, without corrections, making visible the act at the very moment it happens.
The line, irregular and tactile, is crossed by drips that introduce a tension between control and abandonment. What might appear simple becomes, instead, an authentic recording of the gesture: a fragile balance between intention and chance.
The real insertion of the brush interrupts the two-dimensionality of the canvas, transforming the work into a physical presence. The gesture is no longer just represented, but remains suspended in space, as if it had never truly finished.

“I strive to convey what my eyes see, reinterpreting it in a modern key: direct, powerful, memorable.” — Santicri
