Olga Volha Piashko's background is in fine and graphic arts, working in a wide range of styles and mediums. Her painting has evolved from realism, to surrealism, to abstract. She is motivated by the relationship of colors and space, and our emotional reaction to the way they intersect. The themes she explores include the interplay of light and shadow, the duality of extremes, and organic references in surreal environments.
