Ugo Nespolo, Vaffanculo Big - Serigrafia + Collage.
Description from the seller
Silkscreen + Collage. A splendid graphic work, part of a portfolio of 3 sheets.
The silkscreen base was produced at the Losio print shop in Settimo Milanese, under the artistic direction of Gianni Fornaresio. The collage is applied by hand, therefore the colors of the letters may vary in position, making each print practically a unique piece.
The work does not aim to have any political reference but concerns a commonly used interjection, employed by people of all ages and social classes.
Authenticity certificate from Studio Fornaresio, which is the publisher.
Studio Fornaresio dry stamp.
The edition number may differ from the one published.
Directly from the publisher.
Ugo Nespolo, born in Mosso (Biella), graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and holds a degree in Modern Literature. His beginnings in the Italian art scene date back to the 1960s, to Pop Art, the future conceptual and poorist movements. Never absolutely tied to a single current, his work quickly characterizes itself by a marked ironic, transgressive imprint and a personal sense of amusement.
