Description from the seller
An Exceptional Collector's Piece: Vintage Parker 18K Solid Gold Fountain Pen
We are proud to offer an incredibly rare and luxurious fountain pen manufactured by Parker France during the mid-20th century (circa 1950s-1960s). Unlike standard gold-filled or plated models, both the cap and the barrel of this exquisite instrument are crafted from 18K Solid Yellow Gold, verified by the official "750" hallmark and the French gold assay marks near the cap lip.
Design: Features a stunning vertical lined "Godron" pattern that reflects light beautifully. It has the iconic Parker arrow clip and a sleek black grip section with a hooded gold nib.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of age and wear. No major dents or deep scratches. The gold luster is exceptionally well-preserved. (Please refer to high-resolution photos for the exact cosmetic state).
Box: Comes in its highly desirable, original period-correct red velvet Parker presentation case.
A true holy grail for fountain pen enthusiasts and high-end vintage collectors. Ready to write or to be displayed as a centerpiece investment.
Rarity: Very High. Parker's solid gold French-made pens were among the most expensive and limited-edition prestigious pens of their time. Most collections only include gold-filled models; those made entirely of solid gold are rarely released.
